Who We Are
Built in the Pacific Northwest
West Wood Design is a custom millwork and furniture fabrication shop based in Port Angeles, Washington. We operate out of a 1,080 sq ft heated workshop and build everything to order.
We specialize in solid hardwood furniture, custom built-in cabinetry and millwork, CNC routing, and laser engraving. Our work ranges from single statement pieces to complete room millwork packages and commercial retail installations.
Everything we build starts with a conversation. We work with you on the design, confirm the details before cutting anything, and deliver a finished piece you'll be using for decades.

Who's in the Shop
Scott Emigh
Owner & Lead Fabricator
Scott founded West Wood Design and handles design, client relationships, and production oversight. He built the shop from the ground up — literally.
Hunter Emigh
Co-Operator & Fabricator
Hunter runs the shop floor alongside Scott. He's fully capable on every machine in the building and brings a sharp eye for detail to every build.

Laser Engraving
Custom laser engraving on wood, acrylic, and other materials. Signage, personalization, branding.
Solid Hardwood Joinery
Mortise and tenon, dovetails, box joints. We use traditional joinery methods where they matter most.
Finishing
Oil, wax, lacquer, paint, and custom stain finishes. We match existing finishes or develop a new look.
